At Select Dental Studio most Full Gold Crowns are designed utilizing the Sirona CAD software, then milled using Vita CAD waxx to create the waxup. Many laboratories will then invest and cast these wax blanks. I take the added steps of evaluating the occlusion & anatomy, then adding wax or grinding on the wax pattern to enhance the occlusal scheme. All other FGC units are done the old fashioned way: by hand. Regardless of how your FGC is manufactured, the goal is to deliver you the best fitting product.
